For the young soccer player we provide a more challenging environment than what is normally offered to them in the traditional recreational programs. Our focus is to develop the young player and give them the confidence to play Club Travel soccer as they get older.

Development Academy Goals and Benefits

Our main goal of the Developmental Academy is to help improve players' confidence in their ability by making them more comfortable with the soccer ball. The more comfortable a player is with the ball, the higher the success rate will be when playing in games, resulting in a greater love of the game. Benefits of the Youth Academy Include:

The fascination for the ball, the desire to master it and the thrill of scoring goals provides the launching pad. The joy and pleasure of the game are best nurtured by encouraging freedom of expression and playing in small sided games.

This program has been specifically designed to increase the level of enjoyment and quality of play among our young soccer players with outdoor and indoor opportunities. Training sessions for these players is with the emphasis on instruction through FUN soccer training with our experienced and qualified coaching staff. Players will attend two scheduled practices a week, the first 45 minutes will be practice time followed by a 30 minute game.

The 2010/11 Academy fee of $95 per season includes the following:

• Experienced and qualified coaches.
• Fall & Spring outdoor practices and in-house games - Every Mon & Wed 5:30pm - 6:45pm, no weekends
• Small sided training
• Individual skills development
• Soccer Minikicks T Shirt
